I have been working pretty closely with some people on this project so I might be a bit biased but I really think 12th is ultimately the best location. I recommend you read my little article about this on the Great City site () but I will highlight…

Well I suggest, and I'll try to do it myself, talking to business owners and at least getting their written support. Might be nice just to have and show our elected officials.

I really love that idea Dave. Although it might not work on busy streets since you would be so close to traffic. I think it would be great though if a few business teamed up and took two or three spaces. The little Summit Business district or the ba…

Hello Everyone, One of the overwhelming ideas at the meeting last week was creating a mission statement and a set of goals that would help guide our group in its efforts and activities. I thought that since we are an offshoot of the Great City Stre…

Summer Streets Volunteers Needed!

This summer the City of Seattle is launching a new and much improved Summer Streets program with all kinds of events and activities around the city for pedestrians and bikers. To help keep the costs down and the fun high they are looking for people to help with the event. Please join the new Summer Streets Volunteer group and consider helping out when the Summer Streets come to your neighborhood. Thanks!
