Washington state seeks high speed rail funding

As we work to make it more reasonable for more people to live car-free in this city, we should work to improve the non-car options for getting out of the city and get to other parts of the region.

Design Commission calls for more space for walking, biking and placemaking in International District, reviews Public Spaces Public Life Study from Gehl Architects

The Seattle Design Commission recently reviewed preliminary plans for Maynard Ave. S. and S. Lane Street from Robert Scully and Geoff Wentlandt of DPD.

Bringing Streets for People to the people (at the Folklife Festival this weekend)

If you look on the calendar to the right in the next few days, you'll see there is a rough plan to help get event outreach up and running for Streets for People. The past few weeks have been crazy at work, but I'd still love to get a group together to spread the word this weekend at Folklife.

If anyone is interested in joining me to reach out to our fellow Seattleites over the weekend, please give me a call or send me an email (NateCole-Daum@Comcast.net | 206-715-0846).

Take a look at the note… Continue
